My Dream Movie Cast for Pixieland Diaries

As part of the launch tour for my latest book, DARE (Pixieland Diaries #3), the lovely folks at Books, Tea, Healthy Me have asked me to share my dream movie cast for the characters from this book. Great idea!
So without further ado, here goes!
Calla
Calla is a sassy and talented pixie. In terms of casting, I’m hoping for rapper Cardi B. Of course, I’d have to add in some musical numbers just to keep it real. Cardi B is so fierce, strong and outspoken… I just think she’d add capture Calla perfectly.
The Usurper
Since Calla is being played by Cardi B, it would be cool to have the antagonist of DARE be played by Candace Owens. For those who don’t know, Ms. Owens is a conservative commentator. Both Owens and Cardi B have their share of real-life battles, so this is another case where we wouldn’t need to spend a ton on acting lessons.
Dare
To cast Calla’s love interest, I’d pair Cardi B with Chris Pine. After all, the guy can handle Wonder Woman, I think he has a solid chance to keep up with Cardi B. That said, I’d need to ensure everyone understands the need to avoid anything like the “Handsome Man” controversy from Wonder Woman 1984. No sex without verbal consent, people!
So that’s it. My dream cast for DARE. Be honest—you totally want to see this movie now, don’t you? God knows, I do.
