Tea Review: Colon Tea from TeamiBlends

I have been drinking the Colon Tea from TeamiBlends every-other-night for a few months now and my stomach definitely thanks me! I actually look forward to my Colon Tea nights as I know I am going to get a great night’s sleep and then wake up and feel amazing.

Description from TeamiBlends.com:

Ever feel like you need to press the reset button on your body? Toxins exist in processed foods, carbonated drinks, pollution and the free radicals that we are exposed to on a daily basis. These toxins can build up in the body which can cause feeling exhausted, low energy levels, non-functioning digestive system, bloating, inflammation and more.  Traditionally, Colon tea cleanses have been used because they are gentle, simple and 100% natural!

Steep your Teami Colon in hot water for 1-5 minutes, gradually increasing your steep time as you go through the program. Drink every other night before bed for best results!

Ingredients List from TeamiBlends.com:

Senna Leaf & Root, Lotus Leaf, Rhubarb Root, Poria Cocos Stem Bark, Lime Leaf & Extract, Psyllium Husk Seed, Hawthorn Berry Extract, Phaseolus Calcaratus Seed, Valerian Root.

TeamiBlends Colon Tea can be consumed on its own or as a part of a 30-day detox in conjunction with TeamiBlends Skinny Tea.

Preparation:

The first thing you need to know about making Teami’s Colon Tea is that, for some people, this is powerful stuff. It is recommended that you start slowly with your tea steeping times so that your body can get used to the effects of the tea. Starting with a steeping time of 1-3 minutes and then going up from there as you can tolerate the tea.

Did I follow this recommendation? Not really. I started at 3 minutes right away. I wanted to get going! I did not have a bad reaction at all. In fact, I got exactly what I wanted from the tea and was pleased with the results. Now after drinking the tea for a number of months, I can make the tea 24 hours before I am going to drink it. Just be warned that you want to take it easy at the start!

Like most of the teas I drink, I prefer to have my Colon Tea iced and not hot. Preparation is simple. It’s one tea bag in a mug or your Teami Tumbler plus hot water. For me, I then put it in the fridge and then drink it when it is cold. I do add a bit of sweetener. If I am feeling like I need some extra hydration, I will pour it over ice, add lemon juice and extra water for an iced lemonade tea. This is my favorite way to drink it!

Colon Tea contains Valerian Root, so it will relax you and help you sleep. It is recommended to drink it before bed and I conquer. I always get a great night’s sleep on my Colon Tea nights!
